Mee Chiet Donate 100 cases to the Poors in Koh Sotin
Mee Chiet donated 100 cases of Mee Chiet to 100 poor families in Koh Sotin district, Kampong Cham Province on 12 January 2020 by cooperating with Children Support Foundation and local authorities.
The charity event was organized in Kandal Koh Thboung Primary School in Koh Sotin district.
Veng Rachana, Mee Chiet Representive, said “Today’s contribution is due to sympathy, love and desire to help Cambodian people who are living in poverty. Today’s contribution also depicts Mee Chiet’s commitment in corporate social responsibility activities (CSR).”
“Having the same nationality, we have to help each other. If Cambodian people support Mee Chiet, Mee Cheit have to support Cambodian society and people back; therefore, please continue supporting Mee Chiet, so that we can continue contributing back to society,” he said.
He also called for more participations from other institutions in CSR and charity activities.
This is not the first time that Mee Chiet has participated in charity. In December 2019, Mee Chiet cooperated with Vital organized “Share the Warmth” by donating jackets, blankets, medicines, foods and some money to around 300 poor people in Phnom Penh.
Mee Chiet is the first Khmer instant noodle with Khmer taste in Cambodia. It was produced by Japanese machines and technology to ensure the international standard of quality. Mee Chiet has three flavors- minced pork, chicken soup, and beef stew. Mee Chiet, Khmer Product, Khmer Taste.
