Mee Chiet, the first Cambodian instant noodles, received International Standards Certification from the United Kingdom.
Phnom Penh: On April 26th, 2022, One More Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Mee Chiet) hosted an event to celebrate a New Pride of Mee Chiet, the first Cambodian instant noodles that received International Standards Certification from the United Kingdom, held at Mee Chiet’s factory in Sangkat Kork Rokar, Khan Prek Pnov, Phnom Penh. This event was solemnly presided over by Lok Chum Teav Im Polika, Member of the Board Directors of One More Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Mee Chiet), Lok Chum Teav Cheoung Sokuntheavy, Executive Director of One More Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Mee Chiet), Commercial Manager and Senior Representative of SGS (the world’s leading testing, inspection, and certification company), and distinguished guests, management, staff, and business partners.
Mr. Krisorn Nontavarakornkul, Commercial Manager and Senior Representative of SGS, said that One More Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is the first instant noodle manufacturer in Cambodia that has complied with international food standards and passed the initial audit to receive GHPs, HACCP, and ISO 9001:2015 certification from SGS (the world’s leading testing, inspection, and certification company) and UKAS (National Accreditation Body for the United Kingdom). Mr. Nontavarakornkul added that this recognition will assuredly make business partners and consumers of Mee Chiet instant noodles more confident in the company’s products, quality, hygiene, services, and safety.
