Mee Chiet Celebrate World Syndrome Day 2022
Phnom Penh: Lork Chumteav Choeung Sokuntheavy, General Director of One Fraternity led the staff of Mee Chiet to organize a visit and provide humanitarian donations and prepare food for about 250 mentally retarded children, disabled children, HIV / AIDS orphans in order to celebrate the World Down Syndrome Day 2022 at the Infant Baby and Children, located in Damnak 3 Village, Sangkat Stung Meanchey, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh.
On that occasion, Lork Chumteav Choeung Sokuntheavy, Director of One Fraternity (Mee Chiet) Co., Ltd. expressed her appreciation for the noble spirit of the leaders, teachers, staff of Borey Infant and Child who took the time to take care of the baby. Nurture, warm, and educate all children with humanity and compassion. She added that Down Syndrome is the leading cause of mental and physical development in children. The disease is universal throughout the world, regardless of race, nationality, sex or religion. At the same time, she also called out on parents to pay attention to the health of their children from the beginning of pregnancy, if there are any abnormal signs, please hurry to seek counseling and medical services as soon as possible to ensure the treatment of children and your kids on time.
At the same time, Ms. Thor Pov, President of Borey Infant and Children expressed her deep gratitude to Mee Chiet for choosing this place to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day as well as to bring the necessary materials, including washing machines and groceries and some money to the Infant baby and Children to meet the needs of daily operations, especially in a situation where the world, as well as Cambodia, is continuing to fight with covid-19.
