Mee Chiet Celebrated the Opening of New Academic Year of Public School in Kampong Speu Province
To celebrate the opening of the new academic year and encourage the public-school students to study under the new concept of the Royal Government of Cambodia: “New Normal Path in Education”, Mee Chiet has brought some necessary studying materials and equipment to students, studying at Toul Srokom Primary School, Rolang Chak commune, Samrong Tong district Kampong Speu province on the morning of January 10th, 2022 under Mee Chiet initiative project: “My Bag My Future”.
The event was attended by His Excellency Sor Soputra, Deputy Governor of Kampong Speu province, representatives of Mee Chiet instant noodles, government officials, local authorities, teachers, staff of Mee Chiet instant noodles, students’ guardians, and students around 150 people. The donated materials for the students included medicines, alcohol masks, backpacks, pencils, picture books, water bottles, soap bottles, alcohol bottles, Vital premium water and Mee Chiet instant noodles.
Mr. Somnoas Vibol, Senior Manager of Commercial Section of One Fraternity Co. Ltd., a distributor of Mee Chiet Instant Noodles, said that “Bringing the studying materials as well as consuming equipment is under the project: “My Bag, My Future” which is a new initiative activity aligned to company’s mission implemented for social improvement. “My Bag, My Future” has its vision to provide the value in supporting the education sector marched with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 4: Quality Education through providing studying materials for disadvantaged students and help them reduce their study costs. Moreover, it directly or indirectly reduces dropout rates due to financial and environmental issues, especially in rural areas.
H.E. Sor Soputra, Deputy Governor of Kampong Speu province, expressed his appreciation for the spirit and initiative of Mee Chiet instant noodles, which has made great efforts to bring these donated gifts to the teachers and students on the opening of new school academic year after gaining experience in education during the Covid 19 in the past school year. He added that this offer is a great attitude which private companies directly support through the creation of new initiatives to join the Royal Government in accordance with the Royal Government’s strategic plan and nation policy on education.
Noticeably, the project of My Bag My Future can be organized in accordance to the supports from the customers and consumer of Mee Chiet instant noodle which well-known as Cambodian products with Cambodian taste. In response to the support of Cambodian people, Mee Chiet instant noodles is determined to participant constantly in various social and charitable activities for the cause of social growth for motherland.
