Mee Chiet Donate Hygiene Equipment and Food to Tuk Tuk Drivers in Phnom Penh
During this Covid-19 situation and to encourage the fight against the cruel disease, Mee Chiet has organized a campaign to distribute hand sanitizer and Mee Chiet noodles to Tuk Tuk driver in the Boeung Kak satellite city under the slogan “My safety, My community” on the morning 26, March, 2021.
The campaign was carried out by distributing hygiene kits and Mee Chiet Noodles to 250 tuk-tuk drivers in Phnom Penh to help and a part of the safety and well-being of tuk-tuk drivers. They’re in difficult situations due to the 20th February Covid-19 community outbreak. In particular, To encourage them to stay protected and eat safely to avoid Covid-19.
Mr. Chea MengKuong, Representative of Marketing Department of Mee Chiet Company, said, “Tuk-tuk drivers are a group of people who face a high risk of direct and indirect to health and living in difficulty for well-being for them and their family.
“In this circumstance, the only we can protect ourselves from this difficult situation, as in today’s event, ‘My safety, my community is for our own safety, for our families and our community. We should adhere to three protection and three prevention as always”
“My safety, my community” is a message tp urging the Cambodian people to pay attention to stay protect and fight against Covid-19 in accordance with the advice of the Ministry of Health: Three protection and Three prevention. 3 Protection measures are protect yourself by wearing a mask properly, stay hygienic and keep distancing. And the 3 prevention measures are not to go to a closed place with no air, do not go to crowded places or use over air conditioning, and do not touch each other, holding hands, shoulders, or hugs.
