Mee Chiet making donations to the flood rescue force
One More Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Mee Chiet), brought relief materials on October 17, 2020 such as, medical aid, sanitation, technical equipment and food to the rescue force stationed in Stung Prek Tnaot floodwater.
“Seeing the urgent need of the National Resuce Force, we have prepared a lot of technical equipment and food to facilitate the rescue operation during this rapid flood”, said Hong Sovann, a representative of One More Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Mee Chiet).
“These donations are from Mee Chiet Fund, which has received strong support from customers and Cambodian government, meaning that the company has taken part of profit to support the social needs under the slogan of “Khmer for Khmer”.
This is not the first time for Mee Chiet participating in social activities. By far, the company has engaged in activities such as giving donations to the poor in other provinces and sponsoring for charity events.
Lt. General. Soy Narith, Commander of the 711 Rescue Unit said: “The provision of technical equipment, food, rescue boat, from Mee Chiet is a wonderful kindness showing the contribution from private sector gives an impact to the rescue operation during this flood caused by heavy rains.
Furthermore, for the donations to rescue force stationed in Dangkor district, Phnom Penh, One More Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Mee Chiet), donated essential equipment including boats, raincoats, hammocks, flashlights, medicines, Mee Chiet instant noodles, Vital Premium Water and food. Mee Chiet believes that this action will be alleviating the difficulties of the rescue operation in this difficult situation.
