Mee Chiet Brought the hygiene materials and noodles to the orphans
Mee Cheit brought the temperature thermometers, hand washes, masks and 120 cases of noodles to the Orphanage Center of Cambodia Social Welfare (CSW) in Phnom Phnom Penh on 03 April 2020.
After presenting the above materials, Mee Chiet team shown the kids at the center about how to wear mask and clean hand correctly to protect the virus.
Mr. Chunhieng Thavaseth, the head of marketing of Mee Chiet, said that “Mee Chiet brought the gifts because Mee Chie intends to contribute to the prevention of Covid-19 pandemic in Cambodia while the kids in the center are being in needs for these materials.”
He added, “all of these materials are from Mee Chiet foundation which the budget is from Mee Chiet consumers and the encouragement of royal government. In fact, Mee Chiet always reserves some budget from the noodle sale to contribute to the society with the principle of Khmer Help Khmer.”
Mr. Ney Sakal, the general director of the center, addressed that “the gifts from Mee Chiet is what the center needs and seeks for. The contribution expressed the great kindness of Mee Chiet to the kids who are staying in the center.
Currently, there are totally 58 kids staying in the center with 25 of females and 33 of males. They are supported for food, accommodation, clothes and studies materials.
This is not the first time of charity, Mee Chiet has provided gifts to the people in Phnom Penh and Koh Sotenh district, joint the acts of charity, and promoted for blood donation.
Mee Chiet is a Khmer product produced by Cambodians since the end of 2019. Mee Chiet has 3 flavors: beef stew, chicken soup and minced pork under the operations of Japanese machines and the Japanese technology.
