Mee Chiet Donates Equipment to National Blood Transfusion Center Laboratory Covid 19
Mee Chiet has supported the installation of various equipment to the National Blood Transfusion Center Laboratory Covid 19 contributing with the Royal Government and the Ministry of Health in combating the spread of Covid 19 with the immediate respond to cut off the global pandemic of Covid 19.
The handover ceremony to the National Blood Transfusion Center Laboratory Covid 19 took place in the morning of August 30, 2021, with the participation of Lok Chumteav Neak Oknha Choeung Sokuntheavy, Executive Director of Mee Chiet Company, and Dr. Sok Po, President of the National Blood Transfusion Center Cambodia.
Along with the launch of the PCR Test at National Blood Transfusion Center Laboratory Covid 19, Mee Chiet as the private sector join with the Royal Government and the Ministry of Health to provide the equipment for standard operation against Covid 19 of the Ministry of Health.
Lok Chumteav Neak Oknha Choeung Sokuntheavy, Executive Director of Mee Chiet Company, said that “The equipment installation at National Blood Transfusion Center Laboratory Covid 19 is made to support the testing services to the citizens quickly, safely, and comfortably. She mentioned that the support was organized under the “Khmer for Khmer” project, which is a campaign designed to support activities in response to the immediate spread of the Covid 19.
Dr. Sok Po, President of the National Blood Transfusion Center, said that, “The support of equipment at National Blood Transfusion Center Laboratory Covid 19 today is a great action to respond to the urgent needs. This action reflects social responsibility, especially the support to the Royal Government’s strategy to prevent the spread of Covid 19.
The equipment provided to the National Blood Transfusion Center Laboratory Covid 19 includes furniture, mobile bathrooms, barriers, signboards, banners, and shirt uniforms in accordance with the operating standards of the Ministry of Health by using the budget of the project “Khmer for Khmer”. All the charitable activities and participation in social activities of Mee Chiet can continue due to the support from customers and consumers of the Mee Chiet which is the first instant noodles made by Cambodians and real Khmer taste.
Since the February 20th Covid19 community outbreak, Mee Chiet has organized many events and social activities including food donation, masks, and alcohol to the frontline people, poor students, tuk-tuk drivers in Phnom Penh also frontline heroes of health departments in the provinces bordering Cambodia-Thailand as well.
